DANIEL was a man who was FORCED to live in a very fast-changing and godless society!
He was FORCED to Face some Realistic Fears about the Future… he was also CONCERNED about his Safety on numerous occasions… and He was often DISCOURAGED about a World that seemed to be Falling Apart all around him! (And don’t ALL of those Realities sound eerily familiar to the World We Live In Today!?) There just seems to be a lot of Confusion / Heartbreak / Fear / Uncertainty… that is surrounding US (Christians) each/every day in the World we live in for sure! Which can often leave us WONDERING at times… IF GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL!? (However…) Through a tremendous amount of HOPE / HUMILITY / WISDOM… DANIEL… who was a man that lived thousands of years ago in a world very similar to ours… demonstrated to US TODAY some extremely valuable lessons in HOW we can not only SURVIVE… but also learn how to THRIVE in our surroundings! So we’re gonna spend a few weeks here at COC - talking about Each of those Incredible Attributes and learning HOW to Apply them to our lives… especially when it seems sometimes like we’re LIVING AMONG LIONS! God OFTEN chooses to be WITH You IN Your Trials… rather than DELIVER You FROM Your Trials!
GOD’S DISCIPLINE/JUDGMENT with ANYONE… (Including You!) is always PERFECT in TIMING / SCOPE and REASON!
DANIEL ALWAYS CHOSE TO KNOW/BELIEVE THAT GOD WAS IN CONTROL OF WHO WAS IN CONTROL!
No matter HOW BAD things got... DANIEL always CHOSE to BELIEVE that GOD was BIGGER THAN BABYLON!
GOD'S DISCIPLINE/JUDGMENT always HAS and always WILL... BEGIN WITH HIS OWN PEOPLE!
GOD will always PREPARE us FOR BATTLE… before He SENDS us INTO BATTLE!
