There are Two Questions we ALL ask ourselves in LIFE… (The First Question is…) WHO AM I? (And…) This is a Question about IDENTITY! (For Example…) Where do you find your identity? (Or…) Whose voices are you giving power to speak into your life? (Or…) What about God’s voice? (Or…) Do you know who God says you are? (And even more importantly…) Do you believe what is true about who God says you are? (The Second Question is…) WHY AM I HERE? (And…) This is a Question about PURPOSE! And the thing you need to know about Purpose is you will never find your God-Given PURPOSE until you first know your IDENTITY!! (So that leads to these Questions…) Have you tried to turn your purpose into your identity? (Or…) Are you living for Your Purpose or God’s Purpose in your life? (Or…) Is your purpose in life bringing you fulfillment? SUNDAY SNAPSHOT (WHO NEEDS GOD? - 6)

Americans seem to be migrating away from RELIGION at an unprecedented rate… CHRISTIANITY in particular! But it’s not because the alternatives are necessarily all that more appealing! People are leaving because Religion/Christianity has apparently lost its appeal with them… it’s not what it once was! Where once RELGION/CHRISTIANITY seemed to be where you went for the ANSWERS… it’s now being viewed as the PROBLEM! If that’s you… then I personally believe it might be that your VERSION of GOD is/was the WRONG VERSION to begin with! Join us one last week at COC as we look one last time a little closer at this growing concern in our world today in regards to… WHO NEEDS GOD?


Sunday Snapshot… (Wk6) I DO!

You cannot move AWAY from something without moving TOWARD something else!

Blaise Pascal… "People almost invariably arrive at their BELIEFS not on the Basis of PROOF but on the Basis of what they find most ATTRACTIVE!”

Saint Augustine… “We LOVE the TRUTH when it ENLIGHTENS us! (But…) We HATE the TRUTH when it CONVICTS us!”

(IF…) You can get yourself to the point in which you could ACKNOWLEDGE that the REAL ISSUE might actually be YOUR RESISTANCE and NOT GOD’S EXISTENCE… (THEN…) YOU WILL HAVE STEPPED JUST ENOUGH INTO THE MIDDLE OF AN “EPIC” NARRATIVE! (The GOSPEL Narrative!)

James 4:8/10… (8) Come NEAR to GOD and He will come NEAR to YOU. Wash your hands, you SINNERS… and purify your hearts, you DOUBLE-MINDED. (10) HUMBLE YOURSELVES before the Lord and HE WILL LIFT YOU UP!

If YOU are Doubting God today... (Maybe…) The “GOD” you originally believed in was the wrong “god” to begin with!?
