CELEBRATORS…
FAMILY… We all have one… and many of us want a better one! While some of us loved our 'growing up' years… others of us couldn't wait to move out and start fresh! Either way… there’s something inside us all that would love to have THE PERFECT CIRCUS… when it comes to our FAMILY! The problem is… there’s REAL… then there’s IDEAL… then there’s a BIG GAP IN BETWEEN! A TENSION that we all must come to terms with and push through if we ever want to keep moving towards the STANDARD that Jesus gave to us which defines A PERFECT CIRCUS! I hope you’ll do whatever it takes to continue joining us for this Series… MY FAMILY CIRCUS! We’ll be continually discovering what Jesus thinks is the IDEAL WAY to survive a FAMILY full of Lions… Clowns… and Bearded-Ladies!

It’s a Special Week This Week at COC - As I will be sharing the stage with my Amazing Wife – GINGER! We’ll be sharing with you EVERYTHING that we have been TAUGHT (by our Incredibly Godly Parents) about PARENTING! And EVERYTHING that we’ve Biblically Attempted to APPLY in our PARENTING Style! It's definitely not EVERYTHING that you NEED TO KNOW… it's just what WE KNOW! (Hope you’ll enjoy it!)
Proverbs 22:6… Train up a child in the way he should go… and when he is old he will not turn from it! – One thing to remember about this IDEA… It’s not a Guarantee – it is however… A Faithful Action for Parents to Attempt in Biblical Parenting!
Don't be afraid to let your kids FAIL! – “Don't Bail… Let 'Em Fail!”
-When they FAIL… They learn HOW/WHO to turn to… when FAILURE happens!
REJECTION and ACCEPTANCE is often communicated in The WORDS We USE and The SCHEDULE That We CHOOSE! (Your Kids NEED your TIME!)
DISCIPLINE… Don't FEAR your kids!
Don't be a FRIEND to your kids… BE A PARENT!
They may not always LIKE YOU… but LATER they will LOVE YOU!
DISCIPLINE is all about RESTORING BROKEN RELATIONSHIPS! Do it in LOVE!
Don't REACT… RESPOND!
PROBLEM… When you expect the CHURCH to assume the RESPONSIBILITY of MAKING your kids DISCIPLES… when the RESPONSIBILITY was given to YOU!
