CELEBRATORS… Often times when God makes PROMISES we don’t always realize that there will be PROBLEMS along the way as well! Just as the Israelites discovered with their PROMISED LAND… there would be GRAPES… but there would also be GIANTS! The GOAL in this series is to look a little closer at the POWER… the PURPOSE… and the PROMISE found within the Book of Ephesians! Our hope/prayer is that you would fully realize ALL that God has PLANNED for you and how to NAVIGATE through the OBSTACLES so you can realize/reach your full POTENTIAL as a Follower of Jesus! It's totally possible for GOD to have ALL THE POWER… but for His people to live in TOTAL WEAKNESS! (Ex. Israelites) His POWER is only POTENTIAL… Meant to be converted into STRENGTH… by FAITH and ACTION!
In Numbers 17:30… Everybody seemed to be focused on HOW BIG the GIANTS were… but CALEB couldn't take his mind off of HOW BIG the GRAPES were!
I wonder how many Christians never fully UNPACK the POTENTIAL of the POWER they POSSESS… IN CHRIST?
Your STRENGTH IN LIFE is not determined by YOUR ABILITY…
It's determined by GOD'S AUTHORITY! (Period.)
Maybe it's time to stop focusing on the SIZE OF THE GIANT and start focusing on the GOD WHO MADE THE GRAPES? (Greater Is He That Is In Me Than He That Is In The World!)
