Sunday Snapshot… (WK1) GOOD NEWS / BAD NEWS

1 Timothy 6:17-18… Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. 18 Command them to do good, to BE RICH in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.

Good News… YOU’RE RICH! / Bad News… YOU’RE RICH!

It’s a SPIRITUAL IMPOSSIBILITY to be a FULLY DEVOTED FOLLOWER OF CHRIST…

and it NOT IMPACT YOUR FINANCES!

BEING RICH is not just about HOW MUCH MONEY you THINK YOU HAVE or DON’T HAVE!

It’s about… WHAT WE DO… WITH WHAT WE HAVE!

When you’re the MOST POWERFUL PERSON IN THE ROOM… You should always use your INFLUENCE and your POWER for those who have LESS POWER and LESS INFLUENCE!

Sunday Snapshot… (WK3) GOOD GOD

The reason God doesn’t GET RID of ALL the PAIN and SUFFERNING right now… is because YOU are a PART of THE PROBLEM!

The Only Way for God to GET RID of all our PROBLEMS is to REMOVE all the PROBLEM PEOPLE!

There is no such thing as a SMALL SIN… SIN always GIVES BIRTH to MORE SIN!

We say we want God to give us JUSTICE… when what we really mean is that we want JUSTICE for Other People… but not for OURSELVES!

Jesus SUFFERED like no one else in human history… to PUT AN END to SUFFERING… ONCE and FOR ALL!

God doesn’t always provide the REASON for our SUFFERING… but He always provides the RESOURCES to GET US THROUGH!

If God REMOVED all the EVIL from the world… He would have to start with ME! (And…)

I choose to believe God entered our Evil World to FORGIVE ME rather than REMOVE ME!
