SUNDAY SNAPSHOT (#DeathToSelfie – 4)

CELEBRATORS…

If we were to take a minute and compare our UNFILTERED Lives to a World that always seems to be CROPPED and EDITED… where EVERYTHING seems or appears to be PERFECT… it can often leave us with thoughts of MISERY… and FRUSTRATION… and CONFUSION! There just seems to be this ongoing STRUGGLE today to KNOW or to FIND OUT… WHO WE REALLY ARE… in the WORLD… and then to try and balance THAT… without compromising WHO WE ARE… in CHRIST! So what I’ve been hoping and praying for in this Series… #DeathToSelfie… is that EACH OF US can genuinely discover… that in finding our REAL IDENTITY… IN CHRIST… we can actually SAVE OURSELF from the Greatest Obstacle that appears to be standing in our way… YOU! Hope to see you this coming Sunday as we head into our Fourth Week… SISTER WIVES!

In Life… What we see on the OUTSIDE doesn't always match up with what's happening on the INSIDE! (So…) How do we find PURPOSE in these FRUSTRATIONS?

(And…) How can God still USE us in spite of our MISGUIDED PRIORITIES?

God can do AMAZING things in PLACES and TIMES you’re least expecting them!

LAW says you DO Good… THEN you Get God! GRACE says you Get God FIRST… THEN out of LOVE and APPRECIATION for Him… you DO Good!

GOD SELECTS what MAN REJECTS! With 'God in Control'... It’s never a REJECTION… it’s always a REDIRECTION!

Until "JESUS" is ENOUGH for you… whatever “IT” is - will NEVER be ENOUGH either!

One Moment RECEIVING from God... outweighs a lifetime of your ACHIEVING without Him!

Your PROBLEM today... may end up being God’s PROMISE to bless your world tomorrow!

You will (often) SEE GOD… in the most TRANSITIONAL and TROUBLESOME Moments of YOUR LIFE! (The Question is… WILL YOU BE LOOKING FOR HIM THERE?)

God ALWAYS… meets YOU… IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!

It's good to not be COMPLACENT… but it’s also good to be CONTENT… while not being COMPLACENT! (Don’t always be so DESTINATION-DRIVEN!)

GO BACK TO BETHEL… (Because…) BETHEL is a place of REMEMBRANCE!

-Those places/times where God "Showed Up and Showed Off" in the most Desperate Moments of your life! (Sometimes you gotta go BACK… to go FORWARD!)

GO BACK TO BETHEL… (Because…) BETHEL is a place of REVELATION!

-The PRESENCE OF GOD is not a PLACE… it's a PERSON!

-HE IS ALWAYS WITH YOU… "WHEREVER" YOU GO!

GO BACK TO BETHEL… (Because…) BETHEL is also a place of RESPONSE!

-BETHEL is not just a place where YOU talked with God… it's a place where HE TALKED TO YOU! (Romans 12:1… It demands a RESPONSE!)

What Happens When God Shows Up In The Middle Of Nowhere…? (Interestingly…) He is… "NOW-HERE!" (He is EMMANUEL… "GOD WITH US!")
