SUNDAY SNAPSHOT (Nic and Joe Saved Easter…)

CELEBRATORS…

EVERYTHING… (Everything!) That we BELIEVE… HINGES on what happened with JESUS CHRIST some 2000+ years ago! It’s not based on what so many other Religions are based on… not on some Teacher… not on some Philosophy… not on some Teaching… the ENTIRE CHRISTIAN FAITH… HINGES… on ONE SINGLE EVENT… THE RESURRECTION! And because JESUS (LITERALLY!) ROSE FROM THE DEAD… it verified and validated EVERYTHING that He ever said… and EVERYTHING that He claimed to be! And that’s why EASTER is such a BIG DEAL for those who call themselves CHRISTIANS! So PLEASE… Do whatever it takes to WORSHIP that FACT with us this “Resurrection Weekend” at COC (9a/11a) – and do whatever it takes to BRING SOMEONE with you… it could be their ETERNAL-CHANGING Moment!

The One Question we ALL want Answered… HOW DO WE KNOW THAT WE HAVE A RIGHT-STANDING WITH GOD? Jesus' Answer… YOU MUST BE BORN-AGAIN! (John 3:3)

God is not looking at what we are DO-ING… or how we are BE-HAVING… He looks only at One Thing… WHO IS IT THAT WE ARE BE-LIEVING!

John 3:15… …that EVERYONE (ANYONE) who BELIEVES (FAITH) IN HIM… may have ETERNAL LIFE! (Salvation comes only through JESUS!)

Isaiah 53:5-6 -- You enter into the Kingdom of God - not through Good Behavior - but through FAITH IN JESUS - whom God sent for YOU!

Matthew 28:6… "He (Jesus) is not here… HE IS RISEN… just as He said!"

-That's our HOPE!

-That's our FAITH!

-That's what EASTER is all about!

Jesus really DIED… and He really ROSE AGAIN! -- Our entire FAITH is built on that FACT! DO YOU BELIEVE IT? If you do…then DO SOMETHING with it!

CELEBRATORS…

In a world that sees one corporation after the next crumbling… a National Debt that keeps rising… and you not knowing whether you’ll come home at the end of the day with a job or not… FINANCIAL SECURITY is most definitely a huge area in all of our lives! Leaving us often to wonder WHY our life is so chaotic… or WHAT we can do to stay afloat… or WHEN our BAILOUT is coming! Well… there is HOPE and it’s found in the most controversial subject of most of our lives… MONEY! I pray that you will do everything possible to NOT MISS the LAST WEEK of our “Generosity” Series this weekend at COC… called BAILOUT! Please come with an ‘Open Heart’ to hear from God and what He may have to say about your Finances! After all… when it comes to MONEY… “It’s not what God wants FROM you… it’s what He wants FOR you!”

The First Thief… GULLIBILITY!

-It's time to stop separating the BOXES in your life!

-GOD WANTS IN EVERY BOX… including your FINANCIAL one!

The Second Thief… GREED!

-Matthew 6:24… NO ONE CAN SERVE TWO MASTERS!

-Jesus says plainly… "You're either gonna WORSHIP ME… or YOUR STUFF!"

GREED is a condition of the HEART! Where we either worship the RESOURCE… or the SOURCE of the RESOURCE! (It ALL belongs to GOD anyway!)

Is your "SOURCE OF LIVING" stealing your "SOURCE OF GIVING?"

When it comes to GIVING… it's not about a TRANSACTION it's about a TRANSFORMATION!

You'll never accomplish DOING… if you can't first accomplish BEING!

(Meaning…) If you can't BE like Jesus (GIVE)... then you'll never DO what Jesus Did!
