Sunday Snapshot… (Wk2) SAYS WHO?
We ALL tend to evaluate AUTHORITY… RULE BY RULE… and if we DON’T AGREE with it we just DISREGARD it! (Here's the TWIST...) If we DISAGREE with the “WHAT” then we're going to DISREGARD it altogether!
The TWIST says that when it comes to AUTHORITY and RULES… it’s all about “WHAT?” (But God Says...) "It's NOT about the WHAT... it's about the WHO!"
Romans 13:1… Everyone must Submit Himself to the Governing Authorities… for there is no AUTHORITY except that which God has established. The Authorities that exist have been established by God.
GOD ALWAYS WORKS THROUGH HUMAN AUTHORITY. (Period.)
Your ATTITUDE and RESPONSE toward your HUMAN AUTHORITIES… is a REFLECTION of your ATTITUDE and RESPONSE toward your FATHER in HEAVEN!
Romans 13:5… Therefore, it is necessary to SUBMIT to the AUTHORITIES not only because of possible punishment BUT also because of CONSCIENCE! (In other words… IT'S JUST THE RIGHT THING TO DO!)
It’s NOT about the WHAT… it’s about the WHO!
