SUNDAY SNAPSHOT (HOME for Christmas)

HOME for Christmas… (1) Wonderful Counselor

CELEBRATORS… Starting a brand new series this week called… HOME for

Christmas! Taking a closer look at the prophetic passage in ISAIAH 9:6… For unto

us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government will be on his

shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting

Father, Prince of Peace. Those last four descriptive terms that describe this SAVIOR

have epic implications for all of us! Four magnificent ways in which Jesus Christ

manifests His availability to all those who call Him Lord! Each week we’ll be taking

a close look at each one! This first week we will be looking closer at WONDERFUL

COUNSELOR! In specific with this thought… HOW DO I HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD?

How do I know that He is speaking to me? Everybody wants to HEAR the VOICE OF

GOD… the question we all have is… HOW DOES HE SPEAK? And maybe the better

question is… AM I LISTENING? Should be a FUN Series to end the incredible year of

2013! Do everything you can to be there!

God Speaks through HIS WORD!

-Are you reading the Bible for INFORMATION… or for TRANSFORMATION?

-Never Forget… What we KNOW... should make us GROW!

God Speaks through HIS SPIRIT!

-That VOICE inside that PROMPTS… GUIDES… DIRECTS… us to RESPOND to

JESUS! (Are you listening?)

God Speaks through OTHERS!

-Those who LOVE JESUS (First) and then LOVE US (Second)!

-This speaks to the importance of THE CHURCH! (The Bride of Christ)

God Speaks through our BEING STILL!

-Maybe GOD IS SPEAKING… there's just too much NOISE (in our lives) to HEAR HIM?

God Speaks through our CIRCUMSTANCES!

-Ever experience STORMS IN YOUR LIFE? Well it’s important to note that time and

time throughout the BIBLE - God Speaks to people... IN THE MIDDLE OF A STORM!

Since we now KNOW GOD SPEAKS… (The Better Question is…) Are we

ACKNOWLEDGING HIM? Trust me… The LONGER you try to IGNORE IT… the

LOUDER IT GETS! (HE’S NOT GOING AWAY!)

Doomsday Prepping… (5) The Second Coming

CELEBRATORS… A lot of times when we talk about the END TIMES… there’s a lot of UNCERTAINTY… UNCLARITY and even FEAR! A lot of Christians don’t even know exactly WHAT’S going to HAPPEN - or HOW it’s going to HAPPEN! The first and main thing you need to know is this… as a CHRIST FOLLOWER – YOU HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR - you’re on the RIGHT TEAM! This is the last week of our DOOMSDAY PREPPING… and we’re taking a closer look at ONE of the many events in the SECOND COMING… THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT! There are numerous events that take place at the RETURN OF JESUS… but this particular event (The Great White Throne Judgment) really does have significant ETERNAL IMPLICATIONS! This is the day where there will be NO MORE SECOND CHANCES… a day in which ultimate JUSTICE prevails! The main questions are… Are you ready for that day? Have you done everything you can to let others KNOW about this day? All we know is this… IT WILL COME and IT WILL HAPPEN! How many of us LIVE for… WHAT'S GOING TO BE… as opposed to living for… WHAT'S NOW? (Shouldn't That Matter Folks?)

The Great White Throne Judgment… (Rev 20:11-15) -- The FINAL JUDGMENT for ALL of HUMAN HISTORY! The once and for all RIGHTING of ALL WRONGS!

The Great White Throne Judgment… (Rev 20:11-15) -- Complete and Absolute JUSTICE is delivered! No more OPPORTUNITIES! No more SECOND CHANCES!

Be not mistaken… HELL REALLY WILL HAPPEN!

-And be careful not to CHARGE this Eternal Suffering to GOD'S ACCOUNT!

-Bigger Question… DO YOU KNOW JESUS CHRIST PERSONALLY to prevent SIN'S CONSEQUENCES?

How do I know that I'm SAVED?

Here's the equation… MEETING CHRIST = CHANGE… PERIOD.

Now the question that remains… When did THAT (Change) happen for you?
