Romans 10:15... And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" Mothers are teachers. Mothers are disciplinarians. Mothers are cleaning ladies. Some mothers are gardeners & mowers of lawns. Most mothers understand that baking cookies is more important than washing windows! Mothers are nurses - doctors - psychologists - counselors - chauffeurs & coaches! Mothers are developers of personalities - molders of vocabularies & shapers of attitudes. Mothers are soft voices saying... "I love you." And mothers are a link to God, a child’s first impression of God’s love!
SEX has long been a taboo conversation in most churches; but guess who came up with the idea of SEX in the first place? Is it possible that the one who invented SEX is actually pro-SEX and wants us to have fulfilling SEX lives? Is it possible that what we're experiencing is only a second rate imitation of what God hoped our SEX lives would be? Is it possible we've lost the original design and have settled for something else? The Bible tells us in Hebrews 13:4... "Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be UNDEFILED; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge." The term UNDEFILED can be defined as pure, free from stain or blemish... IMMACULATE! Could it be possible that God designed our SEX Lives to be IMMACULATE & beyond our wildest imaginations?
Everyone is BUILDING their LIFE with some kind of BUILDING MATERIAL! Some MATERIALS last... some DON'T! God has given each of us the MATERIALS to BUILD a LIFE that will last for ALL OF ETERNITY! If you don't use the right MATERIALS - you will discover in due timing - the FOUNDATIONS and WALLS of your LIFE will CRUMBLE! Don't discover this TOO LATE!
The invitation from Jesus to “FOLLOW ME” was not an invitation to be saved — it was a call for a “Follower of THE WAY” to do just that… “FOLLOW… THE WAY!” “THE WAY” is JESUS and He clearly demonstrated HIS WAY of FOLLOWING everyday — by FISHING FOR MEN! How willing and ready are you to FOLLOW “THE WAY” and GO FISH?
“Therefore… if anyone is in Christ — he is a NEW creation; the Old has gone — the NEW has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:17) — Your Old IDENTITY is gone and your New IDENTITY is eternal — this is HOW you can begin to CHANGE your IDENTITY! Understanding that YOU have no real part in that CHANGE! It’s because of WHAT CHRIST has done IN YOU that enables YOU to MAKE THAT CHANGE! The ability to then… be LIKE CHRIST — living up to His standards!

Some may actually call it… FREAKONOMIC$!

DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE JESUS WAS WHO HE SAID HE WAS? The Bible is full of stories about Jesus and the numerous encounters He had with people! Each encounter left that person RADICALLY changed! When you come face to face with Jesus — you’ll have to answer THIS Question… Do you believe JESUS was who He said He was? Of all the IMPRESSIONS He’s capable of leaving on you — the FIRST IMPRESSION should be the most memorable! He can radically CHANGE you a thousand different ways — the most important thing to walk away from your FIRST IMPRESSION of Jesus… KNOW THE CHANGE HAPPENED!
Jim Cymbala writes in his book Fresh Faith that…“Never in the Gospels was Jesus astounded by anyone’s righteousness. Never was He impressed by anyone’s education. He was amazed by one thing: PEOPLE’S FAITH! The greater battle regarding Faith in one’s life is not “Will you try harder?’ or “Can you make yourself worthy?” It is, “WILL YOU BELIEVE?” I guess that would be the greater question for anyone who listens to this message… “Will you believe?”
You don’t need to not look any further than each day’s newspaper, or web-sourced news page, or any major News Correspondent to realize that we are in a world that desperately needs Law & Order! We have done our best to institute it where we think it need be applied or not applied! We have done our very best at removing this “Moral Code’ from anything of significant importance! I then would simply ask — Is life better now? Or does it appear that we still need assistance? I would offer that God was on to something when He gave us the Ten Commandments; I would also suggest that they were not just intended for the Israelites in the Old Testament, and that they have major significance for all of mankind, and that was what He originally intended! God forgive us for viewing them as Ten Suggestions!
