"Have you ever made a DUMB Decision in life?” (Well we’ve got some Good News if you have…) Did you know that God has dedicated an Entire Book of the Bible - called PROVERBS… that’s designed to specifically ANSWER the Difficult Questions of life and to Bring Insight and WISDOM to all the kinds of issues we often encounter in our daily lives – that we often tend to make Dumb Decisions with time/time again? (So here’s what we’ve decided to do here at COC…) We’re gonna take the next few weeks this summer and talk a little more about HOW to Make Better Decisions… HOW to make the things we Say really matter… HOW to best Parent our Kids no matter what stage of life we’re in… HOW to Fool Proof our Entire Life… (And ultimately…) HOW to set a Course for Life that our Families can flourish in! In God’s Eyes… WISDOM is not WHAT you KNOW - it’s HOW you LIVE!
When making WISE CHOICES... it should always be GOD before GUT! (Is that how it plays out with YOU?)
Proverbs 21:30… There is No Wisdom - No Insight - No Plan that can succeed against the Lord.
Three Questions you should always ask yourself when trying to determine the Wisest Choice…
- What has God already said about it in His Word?
- What do God’s People say about it?
- What is the Holy Spirit saying about it?
Godly People in your life will always care more about the TRUTH than they do about YOUR FEELINGS! (Thank God for them!)
When trying to make Wise Decisions... (Don’t Forget!) The Holy Spirit will never contradict what God has already said!
God’s Will for our lives is not just RATIONAL - it's also RELATIONAL! He blesses DISCIPLES not just DECISIONS!
