HE’S ALIVE! (Easter 2014)
CELEBRATORS…
When the Bible says things like… Do unto others… Love is patient… Love is kind… (or…) Turn the other cheek... it presents many people with a PROBLEM! That PROBLEM is this… It seems so easy to appreciate Jesus’ Teachings… until the Bible Writers tell us that… HE ROSE FROM THE DEAD! For so many… the idea of a PERSON RISING FROM THE DEAD is just too hard to BELIEVE that they will cherry-pick the TEACHINGS and refute the RESURRECTION! In this coming week’s EASTER MESSAGE… We will recount the TRUTH about Jesus’ Life… Death… and RESURRECTION! And we’ll look closer at what the Apostle Paul said about the RESURRECTION… “that it is of… ‘First Importance!’” And hopefully… it will leave many of us with the question that MUST be answered at some point in this life… DID JESUS “REALLY” RISE FROM THE DEAD?

It's natural to want to divorce the TEACHINGS of Jesus from the RESURRECTION of Jesus! -- Unfortunately… YOU CAN'T!
THIS is the QUESTION that EVERYONE will HAVE to ANSWER someday…
Did Jesus LITERALLY and PHYSICALLY… RISE FROM THE DEAD?
The PROBLEM today is that so many want to RAISE the TEACHINGS OF JESUS… but they want to LEAVE HIS BODY… IN THE TOMB!
If you have a problem with the RESURRECTION… (Remember) The same guys who brought you the STUFF YOU LIKE about JESUS…brought you the RESURRECTION too!
If you have a problem with the RESURRECTION… then remember what Paul said in
1 Corinthians 15:14… that his and the apostles TEACHINGS (AND) YOUR FAITH… is WORTHLESS! (You can’t have one without the other!)
You can't just RESURRECT Jesus' Morals/Ethics/Teachings… and LEAVE HIS BODY IN THE GROUND! (Paul said (1 Cor 15)… It's ALL or NOTHING!)
DID JESUS RISE FROM THE DEAD?
If He DIDN'T… then it's GAME OVER for Christianity!
If He DID… then it CHANGES EVERYTHING for YOU!
(And I hope you wrestle with THIS TRUTH the rest of your life!)
Celebrators… WHO have you INVITED to EASTER Worship Celebrations?
Don't waste anymore time - make it "EASY" for them and INVITE/BRING them TODAY!
