We all love and can’t even help sometimes… offering little nuggets of Advice… Support… or Sympathy to others who may be struggling in life! (They often come in handy when we want people to feel better about their lives or current struggles!) But… WHAT IF the guidance we’re Giving or Receiving just isn’t true? WHAT IF… GOD NEVER SAID THAT? So in response to that… we’ve recently started a New Series at COC that tackles some apparently common CULTURAL MYTHS about God that can be very misleading and confusing! And they actually can keep others from a deeper relationship with Jesus as opposed to drawing them nearer to Him! Do whatever it takes to join us the remaining couple weeks of this awesome New Series… GOD NEVER SAID THAT!

SIN is Very Real! -- It has very dramatic Earthly/Eternal CONSEQUENCES!
SPIRITUAL MATURITY… Is not about how much you KNOW - it’s about how much you OBEY!
You don't have to UNDERSTAND FULLY to OBEY IMMEDIATELY!
The PROBLEM for most Christians in our culture today is THEY ARE EDUCATED WAAAAY BEYOND THEIR LEVEL OF OBEDIENCE!
The most Miserable People in the world are NOT Non-Christians… it’s actually Christians! Christians who KNOW there is SOMETHING BETTER… yet CONTINUE to REJECT the WILL… the WAY… and the PURPOSE(S) OF GOD!
SIN IS PROGRESSIVE… (It will always...)
TAKE you FARTHER than you want to GO…
KEEP you LONGER than you want to STAY… (And…)
COST you MORE than you want to PAY!
