We all love and can’t even help sometimes… offering little nuggets of Advice… Support… or Sympathy to others who may be struggling in life! (They often come in handy when we want people to feel better about their lives or current struggles!) But… WHAT IF the guidance we’re Giving or Receiving just isn’t true? WHAT IF… GOD NEVER SAID THAT? So in response to that… we’ve recently started a New Series at COC that tackles some apparently common CULTURAL MYTHS about God that can be very misleading and confusing! And they actually can keep others from a deeper relationship with Jesus as opposed to drawing them nearer to Him! Do whatever it takes to join us the remaining few weeks of this awesome New Series… GOD NEVER SAID THAT!

Isn't it fascinating how much MORE we tend to CRAVE GOD in our DISTRESS… as opposed to our SUCCESS?
You’ve got to stop letting the PRESENCE of the STORM cause you to DOUBT the PRESENCE OF GOD!
I’d rather be IN THE VALLEY WITH JESUS… than on the MOUNTAINTOP WITHOUT HIM!
We were CREATED to NEED GOD… to be DESPERATE FOR HIM!
2 Corinthians 12:9-10… But He said to me, “My GRACE IS SUFFICIENT for you, for MY POWER is MADE PERFECT in… WEAKNESS!” Therefore I will BOAST all the more GLADLY about MY WEAKNESSES, so that CHRIST’S POWER may rest on ME! That is why, for Christ’s sake, I DELIGHT IN MY WEAKNESSES, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. FOR WHEN I AM WEAK… THEN I AM STRONG!
When YOU are at YOUR WEAKEST... HE is at HIS STRONGEST!
