If we were to take a minute and compare our UNFILTERED Lives to a World that always seems to be CROPPED and EDITED… where EVERYTHING seems or appears to be PERFECT… it can often leave us with thoughts of MISERY… and FRUSTRATION… and CONFUSION! There just seems to be this ongoing STRUGGLE today to KNOW or to FIND OUT… WHO WE REALLY ARE… in the WORLD… and then to try and balance THAT… without compromising WHO WE ARE… in CHRIST! So what I’ve been hoping and praying for in this Series… #DeathToSelfie… is that EACH OF US can genuinely discover… that in finding our REAL IDENTITY… IN CHRIST… we can actually SAVE OURSELF from the Greatest Obstacle that appears to be standing in our way… YOU! Don't ever fall for the LIE that only PERFECT PEOPLE get to play a part in GOD'S PURPOSE! (He turns MESSES into MIRACLES all the time!)
Luke 9:25… What good is it for someone to GAIN the whole world… yet LOSE or FORFEIT their very SELF (Soul)? (Note to SELF… "ME FIRST" is MISERABLE!)
Did you know it's possible to GET what you WANT… but then NOT WANT… what you GOT! (Especially if you GOT IT the WRONG WAY!)
Sometimes it takes you actually getting all that STUFF… to finally realize that the STUFF you really WANTED… is not really what you NEEDED! (Maybe it’s time to stop learning the hard way!)
You will finally find YOUR "SELF"… when you are willing to HOLD ON TO GOD… when it would probably be easier to JUST LET GO!
