Sunday Snapshot… (WK4) RICH TOWARD GOD
1 Timothy 6:17-18… Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. 18 Command them to do good, to BE RICH in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.
If we could ever view our WEALTH through the LENS OF ETERNITY... we'd lose our GRIP ON IT... and it would lose its GRIP ON US!
WEALTH... Don't live under the ASSUMPTION that it's all for your CONSUMPTION!
We don't get credit for what we… LEAVE!
We only get credit fro what we… GIVE!
If you really want to BE RICH TOWARD GOD... You need to BE RICH TOWARD the PEOPLE HE CREATED!
Your EXTRA... provides you with the OPPORTUNITY to BE RICH... TOWARDS GOD!
Why is it so easy for us to GIVE OUR SINS to JESUS... but not our WEALTH?
