Sunday Snapshot… (WK2) DECEITFULNESS IN RICHES
1 Timothy 6:17-18… Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. 18 Command them to do good, to BE RICH in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.
The WORLD wants YOU to SERVE MONEY... Don't fall for the TRAP of DECEITFULNESS IN RICHES! (Matthew 6:24)
MONEY promises what only GOD CAN PROVIDE!
God has blessed me with MORE than I Need! (So...) I will not trust in RICHES but IN HIM who RICHLY PROVIDES!
Do you know why WEALTHY PEOPLE are LESS GENEROUS than POOR PEOPLE?
Because POOR PEOPLE never place their HOPE in their WEALTH!
The CHIEF COMPETITOR with your Heavenly Father… IS MONEY!
The CHIEF COMPETITOR with your Heart… (Which is what God is after...) IS MONEY!
When your HOPE begins to fall for the DECEITFULNESS IN RICHES… Your WEALTH becomes a SUBSTITUTE FOR GOD!
